Boston-based bride Daisy and her husband decided to take their marriage ceremony down south, and hosted a beautiful, intimate wedding at CJ’s Off The Square in Franklin!
. . . even a tandem bicycle making a cameo for this couple’s classic, romantic evening. We love how warm and joyful Andrew and Jenna are with each other – what a joy to get to capture these precious moments with them!
Today’s session is extra special — Back in my Art Teacher days, Chelsea and I taught next door to each other! We had each others backs, which makes a world of difference in that sort of environment! She put up with my art class playing loud music regularly, as well as graciously enduring the paint smell that probably drifted through those cinder block walls into her classroom ;-). It was such a pleasure to then get to photograph Chelsea & Jason on this lovely Autumn day!
“After all the pressure, planning, and business of dealing with the wedding, the first look was a intimate/private moment the two of us got to share alone,” Courtney describes. “He also may have shed a few tears that he would not have wanted everyone else to see. During the first look,
There is something so special about that connection and I will always feel so honored to be able to capture mammas with their sweet babes. However, it is undeniable that Daddy’s have a dynamic connection with their baby’s too and I love it when dad’s show up, unafraid of letting that connection show in front of the camera. The dynamic connection between this baby is so present with both Mom & Dad. And that just makes my heart smile :-).
“I had this vision of my wedding for years,” Kat says. “That it would be my friends and family and loved ones all dancing barefoot on the grass. I remember having a moment at the reception where I realized that was exactly what was happening and that it was even more wonderful than I imagined.”
This year, we have been thrilled to photograph many newborn through 1 year sessions! We plan to share more of these sweet baby session with you in the not too distant future! So meet baby Piper and her beautiful mama. We dare you not to fall in love with those itty bitty fingers, the delicious chubby cheeks, and those gorgeous eyes.
“the whole wedding day to me was perfect and beautiful. But my favorite moment of the ceremony was towards the end when we were praying; DJ and I had our foreheads against each other and I peeked down and saw our hands together with our wedding bands on. It was something only I could see from my perspective and made me feel like we were the only two people there…”
