SEASONAL SESSIONS

Class of 2015 has some pretty stellar graduates — and Andrew is no exception!  He is a true renaissance man.  He plays guitar, is an excellent artists, and can hold his own in the academic world, as he is looking into some pretty impressive majors (hint: majors that require enough math and science to make my brain explode with too much information!)…

This lady is off to college! Corinne has second shot weddings for me many a time over the last 3 or so years (she has a great eye and is so fun to work with!).  It was fun to turn the camera around on Corinne and put her in front of the lens instead of behind it, and isn’t she beautiful! . . .

Meet Martha and Jackson!  I photographed Jackson’s sister’s wedding a few years ago and was so excited when Martha contacted me about photographing their wedding day this coming fall!

… they left the alter as husband and wife, walking down the aisle to Zeppelin and arrived at their reception where the southern/breakfast themed food left my mouth watering.

“The way we started our new life together was perfect. Simple, unencumbered by extravagance and dedicated to building and sustaining what family does when it’s at its best. Family … in all its imperfect, dysfunctional drive-you-crazy-sometimes glory … supports you and is there for you. If Keri and I went into our marriage dedicated to supporting each other the way our families, both blood and extended, supported us, we could do this. . . .

When Jessica was a senior in high school she decided not to take senior photos, but when she was a sophomore in college—- she and her mom started to regret that decision.  In comes *Krista* who recommends they contact me to take some senior portraits…. errr, should I say sophomore portraits? Either way, I am so glad that I got to meet Jessica when I did.  As a sophomore in college she was taking many of the same art and photography classes that I took a few years before, we had so much fun chatting about professors, the photo lab and the endless hours spent in the dark room developing film. . . .

I first met Elle and Jack through a *Miriam’s Promise* adoption fundraising event.  We did our first session (pictured below) last spring.  Getting to know this family has been such a fun and surprising process. With each session we have done together I am more and more inspired by how this family works together and supports/encourages each other. . . .

From exploring nature, playing with sticks, leaf fights, and a ridiculously funny piggy back ride– these guys are a blast! They know how to have fun and engage with their kids.  It is always an honor to document this family.
