When I reflect on days like today, September 11th, I am reminded of the beauty in love. The sacrifices that were made for others, the lives that were lost to save others… such a sad day, but the way our country responded gives me hope for the future. One day, this sweet baby will grow up and I hope he will be one of the heroes. Hopefully he will never have to experience anything like the attacks we remember on this day, but hopefully he will have many chances to be a friend to someone in need and to offer love and kindness to someone in pain. This sweet baby is what our future will look like, and I think we have some beautiful times ahead of us!
