There’s something about this age that just makes you smile.

They’re big enough to have their own personality (and opinions), but still happy to stay close to mom when it matters.

I’ve been photographing Stacey since her maternity session, and now here we are — years later — with her son running around, making her laugh, and still finding his way right back to her.

These outdoor motherhood photos in Franklin, TN felt so easy in the best way. No pressure, no perfect posing — just the two of them spending time together in a field, exactly as they are right now.

At this stage, sessions usually include a little bit of everything. Some exploring, some joking around, and those sweet in-between moments where they naturally come back together without being asked.
