Today I am sharing with you a very special kind of session. I recently had the pleasure of taking little Bode’s 1 year milestone with his blended family. There is something extra special about a blended family because two become one. You could really feel the love between all of them especially from Bode’s older sister. She was very excited to have this photoshoot with her baby brother. She hugged and played around with him throughout the session and he was having the time of his life.

When joining two families, I think it’s important to keep in mind that everyone should feel included and a part of something bigger. Just like when new siblings arrive to a family and parents prepare their other children… blended families should also keep that in mind. Comprehension, love and patience are also actions to consider. I love that the parents brought their oldest daughter to this session. How sweet is that?!
