Is there anything more special than watching families grow?? I photographed Calvin as a tiny newborn and again curious one year old. Then baby Bennett was born, and he was promoted to big brother. Today, I’m sharing baby Bennett’s 6-month session — full of love, laughter, adventure, playfulness, and tender moments with the whole family!
I absolutely love to document this stage in a baby’s development — and it is often the first baby stage to be overlooked for photography sessions! This is when babies become especially engaged and curious about their surroundings — and SO expressive!! And who can resist those gummy smiles and big belly laughs?!
For this session, we went to Sevier Park in the 12 South area of Nashville, a regular spot for this sweet family. Bennett watched big brother play with wide-eyed wonder…it won’t be long before he is running around, trying to keep up with Calvin!
Thank you for taking time to read this blog post!!

Studies show that displaying family photos of parents, of children (all phases – newborn through adolescent), and of the family all together can help to boost a child’s self esteem & confidence. This is what excites me most about my work. As a former art teacher, I love children and want to help you preserve your memories, as well as help your children remember how much they are loved by their family.
