Last month, I got to photograph The Gray Family while I was visiting 30A . If you aren ‘t familiar with 30A, it’s an iconic road that stretches along the panhandle coast of Florida, connecting charming beach towns like Seaside, Santa Rosa Beach, Alys Beach, and more. “The Emerald Coast” – named for the jewel-toned gulf waters crashing against the pristine white sandy beaches – is a popular vacation destination for Nashville families. I’ve been wanting to do a family session on the beach for a long time, and I’m so excited about how this one turned out!

The Gray’s session was filled with movement and playfulness – running, chasing, splashing water, seagulls flying overhead…we didn’t worry about getting sandy or wet, we just focused on having fun in the moment. Their joy is practically bursting from these photos!! This mama’s flowy white dress is from an online clothing store she owns called East and Gray. I definitely suggest you check it out! And, you may have noticed the cutest baby bump peeking out in some of the pictures. By next summer, this family of four will have another baby in tow, ready to play on the beach with their big brother and sister!

Speaking of next summer, who wants 30A family photos next year?? Seriously, I want to photograph more magical family memories like this! Until then, I’ll just reminisce about this dreamy session…
