Being chosen by a couple who has watched us work at another wedding is always so special to me and Mark!

Alex was a bridesmaid in a friend’s wedding at the Green Door Gourmet, where she and Clay tore up the dance floor. It’s no surprise that the dance floor at their own Nashville wedding was insane – as evidenced by the photos at the end of this post! Have you ever seen so many people crowd surf at a wedding before??

Alex & Clay got married at Saint Henry’s Church, followed by the reception at Hillwood Country Club. Their planner Ashley and her Silver Celebrations team did an amazing job of making everything run smoothly, and Creations by Debbie provided gorgeous flowers.

Alex texted me the day after their wedding to let me know that Clay “isn’t a big picture guy” but that he had such a fun time taking photos with us. This made my day! I know so many people who feel awkward in front of a camera. (Not everyone is meant to be an Instagram husband/wife, okay!) But the key is to have fun!

Our goal is to create situations where you can enjoy spending time with your loved ones, and we just happen to be there photographing you. And that certainly shows in Alex & Clay’s photos – I mean, they both look like they belong in a wedding magazine! And can we all just give Clay a round of applause? For someone who doesn’t like photos, he sure rocked it on their wedding day!
