This wedding took place in a beautiful cathedral in Nashville! The colors, the flowers and the theme all came together perfectly on this wonderful day!
– How did you meet your spouse?
We actually attended the same high school but never dated while there. I (Chrissie) just remember Adam sleeping through pre-calculus and we would see each other around the tennis courts. We reconnected when my college roommate married a guy from our hometown (Paducah, KY). I was a bridesmaid and he attended the wedding. We danced and he asked for my phone number from a mutual friend the next day. At the time, he was getting his Master’s in Mississippi and I lived in Nashville. We were long distance for the first year and then he moved to Nashville when he was finished with school. He proposed by surprising me with flowers and candles at my apartment! The proposal was just us :). He then said we had dinner reservations and when we got there all of our close family and friends were there for an engagement party! (Which it then made sense why no one was answering their phones for the news!!)
– What drew you to your venue choices?
I joined The Cathedral when I first moved to Nashville 5 yrs ago. We both knew we wanted a full Mass and the Cathedral is so beautiful! When we decided to get married in Nashville it was our first stop! I’d heard all kinds of great things about loveless events and was looking for a rustic feel!
Describe your color pallet:
Blush pinks and navy
– What are your favorite things about being married so far?
We have had so much going on this summer ( moving to Louisville, Adam started dental school, buying a house, starting a new teaching job, and finishing all the planning for the wedding) it is nice to just be able to relax together and start to get settled in in a new city! We also are enjoying the titles husband and wife!
