A beautiful venue choice and a beautiful couple! Scroll down to read the sweet story on how they met. Too cute!
How did you meet your spouse?
We met in 2014 online as conversation partners, he wanted to practice English, and I wanted to learn his native Romanian. Then, in 2015, I moved to France to teach English. He was living in Belgium at the time and picked me up at the Brussels Airport. Five months later, he proposed in Paris!
My husband is very smart, very kind and compassionate, responsible and handsome to boot! He says I am, “smart and beautiful”
Are theer any particular items that were part of your wedding day that have an interesting story behind them or hold important meaning/value to you personally?
The table numbers were all places that have particular meaning to us. For example, table 5 was “Paris, France” because that’s where we got engaged, table 8 was “Franklin, TN, USA” because that’s where we got married…etc.
Were there any points in your relationship that were a turning point that sparked your love for each other?
For me, it was after he picked me up at the airport. For the next few days, he took me every day to different places around Belgium, one of which was Waterloo. What made Waterloo so different was that it felt like a real date, where as the other places felt like just hanging out with a friend. He put his arm around me and we enjoyed each other’s company in Waterloo. There was definitely a spark there!
