Meet Sam + Bailey.

These two originally met in English class in college, but it wasn’t until running into each other a few times outside of class that sparks began to fly. Bailey is originally from the Franklin area, though they live out of state now as Sam is finishing Law school. They chose Downtown Franklin for their engagement shoot, for its quaint feel. We had blast during their session! I really enjoyed their laid back personalities. We met at Froth Monkey for coffee and talked for an hour or so before starting their session, which was so great as we got to know each other more before jumping straight into the shoot! We moseyed around Downtown Franklin and stopped in Gray’s for drinks; I love the wall of frames, the window light, and the pretty cocktails this setting provided. It perfectly complimented them: sophisticated, yet laid back.

We ended their session at a park near downtown Franklin, and the soft afternoon light was the perfect finishing touch!

these two are tying the knot at the Hermitage Hotel in Nashville this month, & we couldn’t be more excited to photograph them again!
