It’s always a joy to shoot at Riverwood Mansion. Not only do we love the stories contained within those walls, but the design ethos is incredible!
For Katherine and Chris, it was a natural choice. The wedding color scheme was built around blush and grey, so the pink plush sofas and muted wall colors were only a compliment to that! They noted that the southern charm and the history of the place were also big decision makers: the perfect foil to their quintessentially Southern wedding.

The couple describe their favorite moment of the day as being the first look, and it would be hard to not agree with them on that! Despite a rainy atmosphere, their moment, as you can see below, was genuinely so precious. We always love capturing the couple’s faces in that instant – all the joy and surprise and love – and today’s shot was one to remember.

Another magical moment was the drive off: complete with a vintage car, bubbles and so many kisses…but we’ll let you see that one for yourself….
