We’re taking it back a little to this past fall ’21 with baby Scott’s newborn photo session! During the transition of my previous website to my current one, there was a little hold on the blogging but am slowly getting back to these, and am so excited to finally start sharing all these galleries with you!

I love everything that we did in this newborn session. The neutral background that focuses every shot perfectly on sweet little Scott and his smitten parents…the little pops of color in mama and dad’s wardrobe… pure perfection.

Newborn photography doesn’t have to be fancy to be captivating. Sometimes using props or accessories is fun, but I try to keep them minimal during newborn sessions so the focus stays on you & your baby, and the specialness of this fleeting season. Those impossibly tiny features…the sleepy snuggles…the joy of new parents falling in love with this new person…simple photography makes for timeless photos that you’ll treasure forever!

One of the most common looks for newborn sessions are neutrals and whites, soft and light colors and textures; but little bits of color are also fun to incorporate. This season in life is such a special and happy time… why not bring in that bit of color just like these little ones do to your life?! What do you prefer? Pops of color or neutrals only?
