As a Nashville family photographer, one of my favorite things is helping families preserve memories from special milestones for years to come! One of my favorite ways to enjoy my own photos is in albums — and I love when families enjoy collecting heirloom albums from their sessions, too.

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph this family on mom & dad’s wedding day, and for both of their baby girls’ newborn photos. Walking into their new home to design their gallery wall (more on that at a later date!), I loved seeing how this mama had styled their built-in living room shelving with their family albums! I can just imagine their girls asking mom & dad to take down these albums to look at their baby photos & tell stories in just a couple of years.

Side note — I love how the different colors of these albums looked stacked together! A tan neutral for their wedding album, blush linen for baby girl #1, and lilac for baby girl #2.
