My Favorite Springtime Locations for Photos in Franklin, TN

Every season brings something special, but spring? It might just be my favorite. The air starts to warm, everything blooms, and there’s color everywhere. If you’re thinking of booking a spring session, these are the locations I keep coming back to again and again.

Some of these are only available for a limited time (hello, blooms!), so it’s always a good idea to reach out early. Here’s a look at some of my favorite spots in and around Franklin, TN for spring sessions:

1. Red Clover Field
   This spot is a rare gem and might be a one-year-only location! When it’s in bloom, it’s the kind of field that looks like it came out of a dream. The colors are bold, and the light in the evening? Unreal.
2. The Creek
   Perfect for warm spring days, the creek is playful and relaxed. Whether you want to dip your toes in the water or just use the rocks and greenery as a backdrop, it’s a great choice for families, maternity, and motherhood sessions.
3. Red Bud Trees (Limited Time)
   These trees bloom early in spring and bring the prettiest pink-purple color to your session. They’re only around for a short while, but wow do they make photos pop.
4. Tree-Lined Path
   A classic and timeless backdrop. The way the trees create a natural frame makes this a client favorite for both spring and fall. Everything feels calm, elegant, and peaceful here.
5. Blooming Bush (Limited Time)
   This one only blooms for a short window but adds such softness and depth to photos. If you’re lucky enough to catch it in season, it’s totally worth it.
6. Plum Trees (Limited Time)
   These bloom beautifully and have a delicate, airy feel that adds a romantic quality to any session. They feel especially dreamy during golden hour.
7. The Barn Next Door to the Studio
   A versatile, rustic spot with lots of character. This is a great backup if the blooms are unpredictable that week or if we want to add variety to a session.
8. The Field
   Simple and classic. The field changes with the light and season, but it always gives that soft, glowing background that feels warm and timeless.
9. The Big Hill
   This spot brings epic views and the perfect spot for those golden sunset shots. It works beautifully for families and maternity sessions alike.
