Warren’s mama & I go way back to childhood – we grew up figure skating together! Over the years we lost touch – so when she reached out in 2020 to inquire about 6-ish month photos of her first son, I was so thrilled to reconnect!
Since then I’ve had the joy of getting to watch her oldest grow up, to photograph her 2nd pregnancy, and most recently this past year I’ve gotten to photograph her 2nd son’s newborn & 1 year milestones!

For Warren’s 1-year milestone, we spent time in the studio where he was all smiles. His big brother and parents joined in on the fun, making for some truly heartfelt family moments. Even better, Warren’s grandparents were part of the session too, enjoying some sweet time with their grandkids in the studio.

Afterward, we ventured outdoors to a tree-lined path, and while it was still September, the trees in Tennessee were lush and green, adding the perfect backdrop to their fall-inspired family portraits. The family’s blue and orange color palette was a lovely touch, blending beautifully with the natural surroundings.

It’s always such an honor to work with families year after year. Whether it’s a milestone session or just a moment to document life in whatever season your family is in, it’s a privilege to be part of your stories.
