As much as I love photographing in my indoor studio… it’s always nice when I get to take it outdoors. This beautiful family of four reached out to me wanting to have an outdoor family session and I was all for it!

Before any session with a client, I like to get an idea of what they’re envisioning. I like to get an idea of what they are looking for… perhaps something more “studio like”, bright, clean, and minimal, or something more colorful. It’s important to know or at least have an idea of what you’re going for.

The Sullivan family knew they wanted to have fun and wanted color! We went to this amazing field that I love to photograph at. There’s beautiful scenery and the green and golden colors from nature were just perfect. I had them holding hands, hugging and walking/running around… just look at how happy they look in these photos?!
