I wonder if any of you feel like mama here looks a little familiar? If so, those thoughts are true. Months back, mama (Shelby) came to my studio and took a chance on maternity photography & let herself get pampered. She got her hair styled by my sweet friend Michelle and got styled with a variety of looks from my studio wardrobe. Now, flash forward a few months, we welcomed sweet little Ada and had this newborn session. This is one thing I love most about maternity sessions. To see the excitement of soon to be parents and later meet their little ones. In a way, it makes me feel like I was a part of this journey, and I couldn’t be more appreciative for being able to capture moments for them.

For this newborn session, we went for a very simple, bright & feminine look. There were lots of whites and soft colors/prints to keep the attention on baby Ada. We captured moment between the parents and Ada, Mama and baby, and of course newborn Ada on her own in a simple swaddle and a flower filled basket. She couldn’t be any cuter! So happy to have met her! Can’t wait to share more of her with you as she continues to grow.
