A few years ago I got to photograph these sweet parents for their engagement session in New York City AND for their wedding! Despite the distance between states and all, it’s been so sweet to stay in touch with Caleigh & Rob over the years and keep in touch when they’ve come to visit family in Nashville.

When Caleigh & Rob told us they were expecting a baby — I was so excited for them! We began tossing around plans of when they would come to Nashville for their newborn session… then Covid hit and travel wasn’t an option anymore. When the holidays came around, they were able to make it home to see family and we made a 3 month session happen for their sweet baby girl! It’s been wonderful to witness these special moments in their lives!

This session was a reminder to me that I LOVE the 3 month milestone mark. It should be photographed so often! 3 month olds start to develop little traits. They have the cutest little laughs, and many start to develop their speaking repertoire just like this baby girl. I knew that an at home & cozy vibe was something that Caleigh & Rob had wanted, so I brought some furniture & plants into the studio to create some sets that looked like home & helped to tell the story of cuddling at home with their baby girl Darcy Jo.
