It’s a joy & privilege to watch your family growing…to document those special, tender moments as you welcome new family members!

Last year, I shared Kiko’s maternity session & big brother’s newborn sneak peak. And now I’m excited to share photos from their daughter’s newborn studio session! Maya was born near the beginning of COVID-19, so we waited a bit before doing her newborn session to be extra safe. This meant she was older than a typical newborn would be — so we got a fun mixture of sleepy & alert photos, and some adorable ones with big brother!

If you are an expecting mama & worried about how to time your newborn session — don’t worry! Often, I take newborn photos in the first few weeks, but the newborn stage lasts for several months so there is plenty of time! Depending on your baby’s temperament and their age at the time of your session, they might be sleepy or alert — or a combination of both! All of it is beautiful & unique! No matter what stage your child is at, I promise these moments are worth documenting!
