Recently I’ve shared a newborn session & a 3 month session. Today, I’m sharing a milestone sitter session! These usually take place as early as 6 months or as late as 9 months. These milestone sessions are perfect for when you baby is sitting up well on there own! If you look back at the most recent newborn & 3 month session posted, you will see how much change happens for babies in between these stages!

Here, baby Holland is about 8 months old and he is full of expressions! He is sitting up, pushing up, able to stand with the help of mom & dad, and loves being tossed in the air!

I love studio sessions for this stage — its simple, with all the focus on baby rolls, smiles, and sweet connections between parents and babies. This sweet mama is actually another photographer in town! I love her dearly and it was so special to be able to document these memories of her with her baby! As moms, and especially as a photographer mama, its so easy to stay behind the camera and never actually get in photos with your baby. I’m so glad we set up a time for Madi to snuggle her sweet boy while I snapped my camera shutter. <3
