This session is extra special to me because Caroline was one of my good friends in elementary/middle school! We lost touch as we got older, but has been so fun to reconnect with her as she enters motherhood!

As a Nashville maternity photographer, I know that it can be hard for expectant moms to plan ahead for their maternity session clothing. You never know exactly how things will fit when the photo session day comes — and it may seem silly to invest money into a nice maternity dress when you will only wear it once for photos.

This is where the studio wardrobe comes in! All the pieces worn during this session are from the studio wardrobe. Caroline came over about a week before her session, tried on several pieces and planned out what she was going to wear without ever having to go to the mall, or order things from online just to end up returning them.

We started the session at the studio & in my zinnia field before heading to my favorite local park! This was one of my first sessions in the zinnia field — isn’t it lovely??
