Today’s wedding is a little unique: Boston-based bride Daisy and her husband decided to take their marriage ceremony down south, and hosted a beautiful, intimate wedding at CJ’s Off The Square in Franklin!
In the words of the bride herself, “Cj’s off the Square is a really pretty garden venue that was the perfect size for our smaller wedding of 50 guests. We liked that it could serve as a light, bright blank canvas for our wedding, but didn’t need too much decor and floral arrangements as the garden setting is so beautiful. We wanted our wedding to be outside, and as the reception area at Cj’s is covered by a permanent pavilion we didn’t have to worry about rain. They are also very helpful in the planning process, which was nice as the wedding was out of state for us.”
The style of the wedding was intimate, with their closest friends and family traveling from near and far to this special destination. With a color scheme of cream, pale grey and loads of greenery, it was a private garden affair that showcased Daisy’s timeless class and striking minimalist style.
They describe one of their favorite moments of the day as reading letters that they had each written that morning to each other, in a private moment apart from the ceremony: “It was really nice to have that moment between us, after the rush of getting ready and before the craziness of the ceremony had begun.” This time that Daisy & Ross took to swap notes and sit on the front steps of CJ’s Off the Square is one of our favorite moments as well: we love how relaxed this time was and are thrilled with the sweet moments captured!
