“My favorite moment was the first look,” Matt says of the day he married Laura. “I had been anticipating that moment for 8 months.”
Laura couldn’t pick a favorite: “I was in a constant state of blissful excitement,” she describes. “I vowed to spend the rest of my life with my best friend… what could be better than that? And CAKE!! Gawd the cake was amazing.”
Looking back on these pictures, you can clearly see this playing out. Laura, bubbling full of laughter and never without a grin throughout the day; Matt treasuring that first look, and everything that followed, in equal joy.
Set against the background of beautiful Scarritt Bennett for the ceremony, and The Cannery Ballroom reception, the wedding was bound to be classy. Ever since Laura saw the church, she knew it was were she wanted to get married, and since Matt is likewise traditional, as soon as he saw it he loved it too. “It was absolutely a perfect place to say our vows in and was so romantic at night,” they say.
And we couldn’t agree more. 🙂
