Alicia described how she and Chris decided to keep the traditional vows for their wedding day, but added a touch that was personal to them as a couple: a John Lennon quote. This could be said for the wedding as a whole: that they combined the beauty of tradition with their own unique interests for an elegant, yet still personal result! (Most notable was the Califarmia food truck – how fun is that?!)

They also had their officiant add: “I choose you to be no other than yourself. Loving what I know of you, and trusting who you will become. I will respect and honor you, always and in all ways. With you I pledge to repair one small piece of the world. I take you to be my spouse, to have and to hold, in tears and in laughter. In sickness and in health. To love and to cherish from this day forward, in this world and the next.”

And that’s exactly what they’re doing.
