I can’t describe this wedding without using the word, “breathless.” Whether from the bridal party session on the balcony of the church in downtown Nashville, to the blustery, windy First Look, to the passionate dance party at the reception! It’s catching-your-breath-on-a-roller-coaster sort of excitement, all the way through, and that’s so fun to photograph.
“This story is in part about a guy and a girl falling in love,” Vince, the groom, describes. “But we’d be crazy if we ended the story there. Caroline and I deeply believe that this love that has brought us together is just a small part of something way bigger, something cosmic…This story has been a discovery of God’s grace. It has been a celebration of God’s goodness. And more than anything, it has been a continuous unraveling of God’s deep love for us.”
“We have two favorite moments from our wedding day,” Caroline continues. “The first was during the ceremony when the congregation was served communion: we had a few minutes alone at the front of the sanctuary to whisper to each other, giggle together and soak in the fact that we were in the middle of such a special event. The second favorite moment was on the dance floor at the reception. We were surrounded by all of the people we love most in this world, and there was so much happiness in the room. We danced all the dances and sweat all the sweat. We will never forget the overwhelming joy we felt in that moment.”
Capturing that overwhelming joy…isn’t that what a wedding day is all about? 🙂
