The family history in the wedding we’re sharing today is truly deep-rooted!
There was a necklace set that groom’s late grandfather gave his grandmother, and on the wedding day Marissa wore the short emerald necklace of the set, and his grandma wore the matching long one.

The ceremony as well, was enacted by a close family friend, and in the bride’s own words, “his homily was so perfect.”

Their getaway was Bing Crosby’s car. (How cool!)

The bride also had her great-grandmother’s handkerchief tied around her bouquet. It’s clear that in the planning of this union they took into account not only their history, but the history of the people that brought them to life!
