Sibling photos with three kids is a little bit of everything… all at once.
This session in Franklin, TN had the sweetest light blue outfits, three completely different personalities, and a mix of moments that felt very real — the kind you’d probably recognize from your own day at home.
I’ve been photographing this mama for a few years now — back when it was maternity & then newborn photos of their first baby… and now it’s these three adorable kiddos all together.
And every time I see her, I’m reminded how fast it all changes.
One minute you’re figuring out life with one baby… and then suddenly you’ve got a whole little group with opinions, energy, and their own way of doing things.
We went into this session the same way we always do — no pressure for perfection, just letting them settle in and be themselves.
Which, in real life, looks like:
someone wanting to run
someone wanting to be held
and someone doing exactly what you asked (for about 2 seconds)
And honestly, that’s where the best photos come from.
There were a few moments where everyone lined up, smiled, and looked right at the camera (we’ll take those wins 🤍)
But the moments that tend to stick are the in-between ones.
The way they leaned into each other.
The quick little laughs.
Even the tears that turned into being held for a minute.
Because that’s what this stage actually feels like.
That’s the thing about sibling photos — they’re not really about getting everyone perfectly posed.
They’re about remembering your kids as they are right now.
The personalities, the dynamics, the way they fit together in this season… even if it’s a little messy.
If you’ve been thinking about booking sibling photos in Franklin, TN, just know it doesn’t have to go perfectly to be worth it.
It usually doesn’t… and that’s kind of the point.
If you want photos that feel like your real life (in the best way), I’d love to photograph your crew in this season 🤍
